The tractor championship will run on bio fuel

If you watch the truck championship every year, then you certainly haven't missed that there was no European champion last year. Nevertheless, one very important event happened, with the promoter of the ETRA championship, the shareholder ADAC Mittelrhein and the FIA ​​concluding an agreement on the European championships being prepared for the next five years.

The management of the Buggyra Racing team was also very satisfied with the agreement. "We probably lost the title last year, on the other hand, we have a five-year perspective ahead of us, which cannot be assessed other than positively. We have relatively enough time to develop and communicate with partners regarding the near future. We know what we're up to. " Jan Kalivoda, the team's head of communication, commented on the situation.

Shifts are noticeable

Last year, the coronavirus situation was signed at the championship. The races took place only at the end of August in Most and in mid-October at the Hungaroring, so the ETRA promoter decided not to announce the title. This year, however, the championship will take place and the Nürburgring will take place during the summer months, even if spectators could not be present due to pandemic measures. "The same should apply in the case of Most, on the other hand, we all believe that at the end of the summer the pandemic situation will allow the participation of spectators," adds Kalivoda.

The tractor championship will be BIO

For the first time in the history of the tractor championship, this season will be completely BIO, which means that the fuel used in the vehicles will only be from renewable sources, which will not have such an impact on the environment. Sustainable technologies are also very desirable in motorsport.
